my passion:
when i first was made a mother, I fell in love with that tiny soul that I was blessed to  bring into the world. I couldn’t get enough of her baby smiles and delicate features! My passion for photography was born.

the EXPERIENCE:
ORGANIC.  SIMPLE. TIMELESS.

exist in photographs.  if not for yourself, then for those you love.

I hear it all the time as a professional photographer.

“Oh my husband, he hates taking pictures.”

“We can just get the kids, that’ll be good enough.”

“I hate how I look in pictures. I’ve never taken a good one, so why take any at all?”

“I’d love to have some photos done, but I need to lose 10 lbs. first.”

Excuse after excuse. And really….none of them good.

Right now, these are the days to remember and giggle at. In 10, 15 or 20 years…..man, you will look at your photos and love that you have them of your children. And in 50 or even 100 years, your children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren will cherish the photos, and appreciate that they have something tangible to connect the generations.

I spend a lot of time behind the camera, and not nearly as much in front of it.  One day I realized that I want to look back when I’m old and see myself at this age with my girls, even if I’ve just woken up, haven’t brushed my hair, and maybe still have the lines of my pillowcase etched in my face.  I’ve realized that I can’t wait until I look this way or that way; there is no perfect time — time is marching on, and we should exist in photos for our children.  For us and for them.

My challenge for you this year - BE INTENTIONAL AND EXIST in photographs.  Photo's that your family will cherish for the years to come.  Photo's that captures the everyday moments and photo's that capture the very essence of your family.

be intentional.  exist.
